I own 6 copies of the same CD, and all 6 have holes punched in the barcode. I want to sell them. Based on the positing of the holes, I can easily scan the backs onto my computer and photoshop the barcode back together. Am I allowed to print out the completed barcode (on sticker paper) and place it over the hole-punched barcode, so it'll scan if I do try and sell it?

How can i scan a barcode using my blackberry curve??? I don't mean scanning a barcode for blackberry messenger, i mean scanning a barcode on a bus stop sign or something.

I know they use that red LED light sensor but how does it recognize the individual black lines on the barcode? Is there somehow information stored on the barcode?

I wasn't paying attention and I laid my america season pass onto the sink. The barcode got wet and now there are thin white lines running across the barcode. (I am not sure if it that was there before.) Also the last few lines got a little smeared. Will it still work?

My car is N reg and has no remote control for the central locking/alarm.I purchased the correct one on E-bay but a Rover specialist tells me that they need a Barcode in order to code it to the vehicle and there isn't one. In the car pack there is a "Key Fob Number" which relates to a National Key Protection Register.

It is a business with about 40 employees that manufactures table cloths and linen goods etc. It has no barcode system implemented at all. We would like a system that measures the raw materials, finished goods and then also what is sold int he factory shop. What software would be good to use and anyone got any tips on how to implement it
