Hi there, Can anyone tell me what the best software (freeware) is for designing technological inventions? I often come up with new product ideas, but am not sure putting them onto paper, or using Microsoft Paint really gives the right look for them! Any help greatly appreciated! I have many ideas for a new clothing line but I do not know which software to download to start up my ideas. I want something that I can design everything possible from shirts to jeans to jewelry and hats if at all possible. I am using a macbook pro and prefer something in which I can see a 3d model of my designs. What software would do the best job for me for a reasonable price or free?

I am new web design, I am using smart space by Go Daddy but really don't like it. I would love to find the right web design software (studio) to use and then just upload to Go Daddy with a FTP client. Please help? Thank you very much.

I currently use Print Shop but am looking for some better graphic design software. I am a fast learner but am still looking for something user friendly that I will be able to jump right into with little experience at first. I will be using the program for designing graphics for t-shirts. Any suggestions?

My younger sister (12 years old) has become quite the digital artist. She does a ton of drawings in a cartoon/anime style, and has even branched into some simple animation. Her work has blown me away, and the most amazing thing is that she is doing it all in MS Paint. I'd love to buy her some better software to work with, but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone have suggestions for accessible and reasonably priced design software oriented towards drawing?
