We have had several T1 outages that have prevented customers from being able to submit faxes to our fax server. Does anyone know of an external solution that will call a fax line and provide notification if the fax does not answer?

I am runing a Windows Server 2003 machine with Windows Fax service installed. Windows based computers on the network can send a fax through the shared fax printer with no problem. How do I get an OSX laptop to use the shared fax printer? Thanks but that mac website explains how to use the built in fax utility to send a fax using a local modem. I want to use my mac to send a fax using a shared fax printer on a windows PC.

It seems like it should be entirely possible to use this network connected All-in-one printer with an embedded web server to be able to accept input for a fax and send it over the phone line from another network connected computer.

I was wondering if there is data usage that you get charged for from your telco for sending multiple faxes, or is just that you pay for the the phone line to fax over no matter how many faxes you are sending? Any insight is appreciated.

our company which is 3 different cities is interested in purchasing a fax server so we can fax invoices, bills of lading, etc directly from our computers. there are approx 100 different computers that we need to be able to do this from. any ideas?
